Family Blogging Month!

Five White enjoy sharing how they are learning and what is happening at St Felix through our class blog with family members. When parents and family members are involved in student learning, it is more meaningful. Research shows that parent involvement can improve student behaviour, attendance and achievement.

Five White want more family members to be involved in our class blog. We are starting a challenge involving all family members. It is called

Whenever a students’ family member leaves us a comment, Miss Azzopardi will record it on our class Google Doc comment chart using the following codes.

Mum – M

Dad – D

Aunty – A

Uncle – U

Sister – S

Brother – B

Cousin – C

Grandparent – G

Family Friend – F 

Other – O

At the end of August, the student who has the most comments from different family members will win a prize! The goal is to get as many different family members involved as possible during the challenge!

Having conversations through commenting is one of the best parts of blogging so feel free to ask questions in your comment and reply to other people’s questions.

Family members don’t have to comment on this post only, they are encouraged to comment on any post on our blog.
