What are your predictions about visitors to our blog in term two?
Throughout the term, the students in Five White worked on a presentation about their passion(s). At the end of the term, the students had a chance to present them to the class. We all learnt so much about each student! There are many talented students in Five White and Miss Azzopardi loved hearing about everyone’s passions. Take a look at the presentations below.
What did you learn about your classmates while listening to their presentations?
On the first day of school, the students of Five White and Miss Azzopardi worked together to create our classroom agreements. We agreed on the following to ensure our classroom is a happy place where we can learn and work together.
1. We treat others the way we would like to be treated.
2. We put our hand up to ask and answer questions.
3. We listen when someone is talking.
4. We celebrate each other’s success.
5. We try our best.
6. We are a team.
Can you think of examples of how you can demonstrate one of our classroom agreements?
In Five White, we have a good deed tree. The students have written a good deed (an act of kindess) they are going to try and carry out and have attached them to an apple on the tree.
Doing nice things for others not only makes them happier, but it also makes you happier! Remember, what you do shows who you are. Think about the person you want to be and some nice things you can do for other people in Five White, year five, our school or your family. Miss Azzopardi can’t wait to see all the wonderful good deeds the students in Five White are doing!
What good deeds could you do?
Welcome to Five White’s class blog! We are going to have a great year together, learning and having a lot of fun! We are going to use our class blog to share what we are doing in Five White with a wide audience, including your family members and other classes around the world. Blogging will also help you to gain new skills and improve the skills you already have, including literacy and ICT skills.
Miss Azzopardi is very excited to get to know her students in Five White. She also wanted the students to get to know her, so she created this Prezi about herself.
